The special and exclusive bar blend enjoyed and served around the world throughout all Caffé Vergnano 1882 espresso bars. Originally developed to celebrate one hundred and twenty years of tradition, the slow roasting of six of the worlds finest coffee varieties — including a balanced union between the two key varieties of coffee bean — has established this celebrated, bold, full bodied and ‘chocolaty’ smooth coffee blend for coffee lovers to enjoy at home.

A blend offering prolonged satisfaction

Investing extra time within the roasting process and blending 10% of the highest quality Robusta beans with premium and distinctive Arabica beans creates a bold, yet smooth, and more intense pedigree, while also producing a thicker and creamier espresso/coffee. All around the world the Miscela 1882 Espresso blend effortlessly converts coffee drinkers into connoisseurs and, for many, introduces an appreciation of what a superior blend provides. We invite you to enjoy exceptional coffee…

Did you know?

Two forms of coffee bean: Arabica & Robusta. While, traditionally, low grade Robusta beans have been associated with lower grade coffee products, the very finest examples — typically from Pakistan and India — can comfortably outshine the poorer grades of Arabica beans. All types of coffee suffer from wildely varying degrees of quality and the name Arabica is no guarantee of quality while the Robusta bean is often wrongly assumed to simply represent an inferior form.

The best examples of either bean offer different characteristics. By intelligently harmonising the finest of both varieties we can achieve distinctive and exceptional results.
