Birra Menabrea 1846: 4.8% abv
Our draught beer: A renowned premium lager from Italy's oldest brewery (est 1846), this well–balanced beer produces a marked floral fruitiness through the use of superb aromatic yeasts and is aged for 45 days in mature Slovenian oak.

The taste
A moderately light bodied pale lager with a mild bitterness. Subtly hopped and reminescent of grains, dried herbs and citrus zest. Crisp, grainy palate with lively carbonation. Refreshing with a dry style and keen flavour.
Famed for utilizing the local mineral waters of the Italian Alps, the water's extraordinary quality is cherished for many uses and brings a refreshing purity to Menabrea beers.
As an additive free quality premium lager, it remains the only Italian lager still brewed using a completely natural process.
Unlike mass produced beer, no additional water is later required to standardise and level the alcohol content.
G. Menabrea e Figli (Menabrea & Sons)
Benefiting from the best of modern technology and hand–crafted traditions the company has now produced premium beer in the Piedmont region of northern Italy for the last 164 years.
Situated between Turin and Milan the brewery is still owned and managed by the Menabrea family — now the fifth generation — and exports successfully, directly from its own Italian brewery, to over 20 countries around the world.
Awards
Throughout its history Menabrea has won awards for the quality of its products in Italy and globally. In recent years (1997, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2005, 2006 & 2007) Menabrea beers have collected many Gold Medals at the revered international World Beer Championships.
Did you know:
Menabrea beers are now being served within some of the UK's finest cordon bleu restaurants in and around London and the south east, and are increasingly sought after by some of the nation's finest celebrity chefs.
Virtually without exception, everyone who has tried this beverage has told us how special it is. This is not another continental brand with continental branding simply brewed under licence from within the UK, but is the original product — using Italian Alps mineral water — imported from the original Italian brewery.
We're proud to truly be one of earliest champions of this historic and superb product within the UK and to once again introduce to Warwick, Warwickshire, and the larger area another exceptional Italian product. The qualities and prestige of this exclusive and superb beer compliments our outstanding coffee heritage.
Galliano Coffee Liqueurs

Our coffee liqueurs are made using Italy's beautiful and famous Galliano liqueur. Also known as the Liqueur Galliano, it is a sweet yellow herbal liqueur which includes the flavours of licorice, vanilla and anise.
Famed for being the the central ingredient of Harvey Wallbanger cocktails, Galliano's unique and ever popular taste has been enjoyed since 1896.
